Want A Job Here As A Staff

What’s Needed To Qualify For A Position
- Translator
Must be able to translate from Japanese to English or Chinese to English. Must possess at least moderate understanding of Japanese/Chinese.
NB:This is one hell of an important position, we could really use Translators at the moment.
- Editor
Must have very good English skills, preferably a native speaker. Wont say you should be better than me but hey you should be able to rub shoulders with us, lol. - Timer
Able to use Aegisub and have a strong grasp of what constitutes good timing practices. It’s not just matching the subs to the audio.
NB:Hey if there is another software out there you can use to time other than Aegisub then please by all means, lol .
- Typesetter
Possess good technical knowledge and artistic flair. Good sense of color and style to match the mood of the show. Good technical knowledge to be able to accurately place translated signs. Knowledge usually extends to being able to do karaoke. - Encoder
People with no experience this is something you might not want to apply for. You must know how to encode and transcode a wide range of formats. Also be able work with DVD and .TS formats and transcode them cleanly. A powerful computer and a fast internet connection is needed.
NB:We might be willing to teach if the need be.
- Quality Checker
Must possess a good eye for spotting mistakes. Includes subtitle, typesetting, and encoding errors. Must be able to provide detailed and constructive criticism. Strong English skills are a major bonus, but not a requirement. If you have a fast internet connection that will be very helpful. - Distributor
Should have a monstrous internet connection and capable of distributing anime episodes at crazy speeds via BT, DDL or IRC.

@hells_finest
You have the censored version one, which mean that all the uncensored version are lacking (withotu talking about the timing problem), furthermore, contrary to what other trolls said there, we do not use, nor steal other team tl scripts.
I’d rather spent an afternoon on the tl and tling / timing /typesetting it myself from scrap, than using a censored version from an other team.
Sincerely,
Kanako
