Why is episode 05 size only 234 MB and 06 almost double the size ? I haven’t seen them yet but i think that 234 MB is too small for a 1280×720 release

Now, I’m not normally one to complain, but I’ve been anxiously waiting for these episodes to be released with subs…but at least episode 5 (haven’t dared to watch 6 yet), it pretty much unwatchable. The video quality it really, really bad. Downloading the Xvid now and hoping the quality it better. Otherwise, it’s not really worth the watch.

Actually, we’ve decided, we’ve got too much stuff going on for us at the moment.. this was just something to pass time and help those who really wanted to watch this.. I’ve uploaded the .ass files.. you can get that and get your quality raw and watch.
For those who have the patience to wait… we will release another one when we get the time or we get another encoder ( Only one Encoder, Jinto.. he is doing so many encodes at the moment, you will understand when we releasse them )

Like DA said, we’ve only have the help of one encoder. together with 2 timers, both of which are not native english speakers. we’re doing our best.
DA has asked for help before, anyone want to help out?
we’d really like some native english speakers to do some editing. translators and encoders would be very helpfull as well to check translations and lighten the load on jinto, the only encoded helping out.

As you probably know, the way the world works is people who really don’t like something, go and post comments or write letters, while the ones that do just move on in their lives happy. Thank you comments and letters are rare. I just hope you guys know that a lot of Saint Seiya communities I go to, as well as friends, appreciate this, and don’t be disheartened by the few jerks who think they’re something by coming here and cussing.
The editing was great, the english was not broken, it was really good, the only errors ever were few (less than 5) and homonyms (peddles instead of petals, Lad instead of Lord). The typesetting and timing were perfect.
Unfortunately if you make the quality better, some will complain that it’s too big, worse quality and it’s too small. You do really good work and the release took too long, you did fine and it’s not good enough. You hardsub and ppl say they want to use their own vids, you soft sub and ppl say they want 1 file. And like you said, for as many “Critics” as you get, let’s see how many of them offer to help and volunteer to take some of the work. They don’t understand that you’re doing something for free that some people do for money (production companies), while being faster and better.
So again thank you from all of us, and hopefully more people will take their time to say thanks =)
I do hope you do the next 2 eps, but I wouldn’t blame you if you didn’t. I just hope that when it takes 2 months for another group to do the next 2 all these ppl finally learn a lesson.

Saph i want to thank you for your posts and i dont think anyone here was hurt but the comments more so annoyed cause people like to complain but dont want to help to fix the problems and figure all of us here at SubDesu dont have a life and spend 24/7 working on anime
While i dont know about the other staff members and there Jobs or Free Time but i got a Business to run and this is all free time stuff i do for DA i could say hell with it again and do something else with the time but that would leave him short an encoder and would take longer for things to come out
As for the “Critics” of the site will never be happy cause if it was me id say hell with the scripts and hard code everyone of them cause i dont see why we should just give out our hard work to anyone but im not the boss so i just follow what im told to do

As a Saint Seiya fan, I would like to point out a few errors in the translation:
1) The armor the Specters wear are call Surplices, not Separis.
2) It’s Griffin, not Girifon.
3) Rhadamanthys, not Lad Mantis.
It would help to do a bit of research on this series first. Otherwise, not too bad. Keep it up.

Now I do appreciate your hard work because I know how hard it is to translate and subtitle. But this has been the WORST sub I have watched other than Hong Kong bootlegs. This is not a flame, but rather my opinion on what could be done better. First off the video quality could have been better, the raws that were released were of far better quality that your production. Secondly the placement of your subtitles were placed UNDER the video which makes it impossible for one to read with the peripheral of their vision- which is why subtitles are placed at the bottom of the videos. This makes it easier for one to read and watched, so they don’t have to look down, then look up. Finally you had some major misspellings and grammar errors. I’m not an English major, but I do know when there are errors. Cion? Peddles? Atora? While the latter is correct on the Japanese spelling, the correct English name is Atla. Cion should have been Shion and peddles should have been petals.
Please, next time do a little more editing or find someone who is willing to do your editing for you. The internet is full of many people who would be willing to do this FOR FREE (I would). You are a great group and you don’t need these embarrassing mistakes spoiling your reputation. Thank you for your hard work, keep it up.

Well most translators use what they see as the right words while there might be some engrish is mostly cause we got people who are not native english speakers helping out and while i just encode do to lack of time
Its hard for all of su to get into the chat at once with timezones and us being around the world
We know theres a LOT of people willing to help its just finding people that WANT to help us out that will be useful and not vanish after a few eps
and lastly this is far from the worst subs out there anidb is full of a bunch of groups that put out far worse stuff plus people expect too much perfection from a free servie/product/project that is being done in the free time of the staff
