So as you can see we are a lil’ behind on our 11 releases.

This is my fault, once again.

One of my terabyte drives decided to have the “click-of-death” yesterday, and has since been unrecognized in windows. This drive just happens to be where the SubDESU files are kept, yay!

Saki can be released as an XviD, as it’s on my other PC. But the others… Lets see how good Hitachi’s support team is.

I’m starting from scratch, but it shouldn’t be too long.

Here is the batch  (and final) release of Zettai Shougeki ~Platonic Heart~.

Episodes 1-5 are all here. One thing you may noticed the [ZFSD] in front of the titles, as opposed to the usual [SubDESU].

What? ZFSD? What’s that mean?

It’s simple really. Me and firepixiedarien have gone back through the original Platonic Hearts scripts and did some house-keeping. The amount of errors I found alone was disturbing. That’s when I decided to re-release 1-3.

ZFSD stands for [ZeroFansubs & SubDESU].

Consider it a v2 of the original releases. It’s kinda a SubDESU project, but not an official release, thus Zero Fansubs is doing it.

There’s another release planned for Zero Fansubs that will be more independent than this one, look for it in the future if I ever decide to complete it

Even with all the server issue going on, we can’t be distracted from our primary role of fansubing.

The other 2 should be incoming (hopefully before 11s airs).

The biggest change this week through is the resolution. I made a decision to drop 1280×720. The RAWs just don’t look good enough to be upscaled, most computers will do a better job.
If anyone noticed, I also messed up Natsu no Arashi 09. It was over-sharpened because I accidentally used the wrong .avs script. That was corrected in 10.

So enjoy the new 1024×576. Saki is also affected by this, but Shangri-La will remain 1280×720.

I just got a friendly email from our hosting provider.

Basically to re-activate my hosting I have to remove all anime from the server.

So that leaves you guys with no Direct Downloads (and me without a place to store our workfiles).

This post is the announcement post of the completed 04 and 05 volumes for Zettai Shougeki ~Platonic Heart~. The last one released was way back in January.

These 2 releases went through a world of hurt: project stall, new translator, new encoders, new editors, new QCs, and much more.

Even though the drafts scripts were finished way back on May 27, I just finished editing the very last word of script 5 moments ago. Yes, it’s been that much of a fun trip getting these guys done.

You’ll only be getting a 704×400 DVD MKV encode this time around, no XviD (unless there is a high enough depend for it, leave requests in the comments or at #SubDESU) just because it’s SD to begin with.

So enjoy the long awaited 04 and 05! I’ll talk to logos and see if he’s up for doing a 1-5 batch to end the OVA.

update by logos: there will be a batch torrent, i will fix it in a few days (possibly tomorrow).
